Dating back to 1316, this former boarding school suffered a catastrophic fire in 1983 and remained unoccupied for over 30 years. After acquiring ‘Lucker Hall’ in 2009, The Holiday Property’s development of the site was delayeddue to unforeseen reasons, including an archaeological dig which uncovered the foundations of a medieval village. Building work finally commenced in 2014 to create 44 holiday cottages and apartments all modern and beautifully equipped yet remaining fully sympathetic to the surrounding village and countryside.
Opened by the Duke of Northumberland in June 2016, HPB Lucker Hall provides beautiful, modern interiors with extensive facilities including an indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam room, a crazy golf course, a club room with snooker tables, an open-air paddle tennis court and exercise room.
Remote and breathtakingly beautiful, the county of Northumberland forms the bulk of the north-east of England – an enticing medley of delightful market towns, glorious golden beaches, wooded dells and more castles than any other county in England.
