The Costa Blanca is a popular spot for golf enthusiasts. It has become one of the leading International golf destinations all year round thanks to its 300 plus days of sunny weather. Jávea is lucky enough to have a great golf course, and with only 9 holes the course is an ideal location for a quiet game. The course opened in 1981 and is a well-maintained course overlooked by palm, orange and pine trees. Although only 9 holes, it can be treated as an 18 hole by playing a second time or doubling back. The course is plagued by bunkers, 34 in total, and most of the greens have subtle runs, many of which are difficult to read, so it will offer you a reasonable challenge. There is a clubhouse, on-site bar, restaurant and a shop. Lessons are also available here for those of you just starting out.
