Easter through the Looking Glass
This Easter one of the finest castles in England is going all out Alice in Wonderland style for a fun-packed family event.
The beautiful medieval castle, which is located just at the edge of the Kent Downs AONB, is set on an island in 500 acres of parkland. Visitors can explore the rooms of the castle, wander the stunning formal gardens, spot wildlife in the grounds or even take a punt out on the moat. There's always lots to do with golf, falconry and a maze, as well as a year-round calendar of events.
Easter through the Looking Glass is running from the 25th March to the 10th April and children of all ages will love getting involved.
Over the Easter weekend youngsters can join the hunt for the White Rabbit along the woodland walk, and meet a number of the famous characters such as the Caterpillar, the Mad Hatter and even Alice herself. Watch the tea party unfold in the courtyard or join the Queen of Hearts' royal game of croquet by the castle maze.
Running until the 10th of April is the Alice in Wonderland themed quest which will lead children across the estate in search of their chocolate reward, filling their trail card as they go.
