There is no denying that Pembrokeshire, with its beautiful protected coastline, fantastic countryside views and calm, tranquil open spaces, is a wonderful welsh walking haven. You could wander for hours, basking in the peaceful country air… But everyone needs an adrenalin injection once in a while right?
Heatherton Activity Park is located close to Tenby, on the coast and provides an exhilarating, fun and energetic day out, for practically any age. It is all completely outside, so be warned it is weather dependant, and there is a huge choice of activities for everyone, grouped within the four zones: Family Fun; Play Zone; Adrenaline Zone; Golf and Bowls. One particular favourite with visitors is paintball which takes place in the 10 acre paintball woodland and offers challenging missions and six different battle zones.
Younger guests can try their hand at Archery perhaps, or Bumper Boats. There is a Tree Top Trail which is great for families or for groups of friends and provides a fun filled challenge amongst the treetops with high ropes, climbing walls and zip wires. With heights up to 40 feet, crossing rope bridges and cargo nets, this is not for the faint hearted, and certainly not for sufferers of vertigo!
