Kendal Mountain Fest
Really enjoy getting outdoors in the Lake District this November with the Kendal Mountain Festival. In an annual event that has been growing in size for the last 15 years, outdoor lovers and activity enthusiasts gather in this market town in the southern Lake District to take part in a range of different events, activities and celebrations.
Kendal is a popular little town, not too far from Lake Windermere, and each year outdoorsy people, media specialists, athletes, equipment manufacturers, artists, photographers, speakers and many more gather here in November to share their stories and adventures.
There is an exciting mix of exhibitions and book events, workshops and competitions taking place between the 19th and 22nd November for this year's much-loved festival. As well as this there are film productions and awards with The Kendal Mountain Film Academy, which remains a firm favourite. A number of debates and presentations from industry professionals will be included, along with premiers, drama, wildlife and environmental documentaries.
