The 18-hole golf course in Majorca's Camp de Mar was opened in 2000 and its magnificent layout is credited to the Gleneagles Golf architect David Kidd. The course winds its way through some spectacular scenery decorated with old olive groves and ancient stone walls and is now known as one of the most challenging courses of the Mediterranean. The course was integrated into the mountainous landscape and is praised for its originality. Several lakes make this a charming and tranquil place to play while narrow fairways and strategically placed bunkers test your skills! The course is well maintained despite its length, and there are around 60 buggies for hire for those that would prefer not to do it all on foot; and with its hilly terrain, a buggy is recommended for all but the fittest players. There is a clubhouse onsite as well, so you can cool off with a drink afterwards.
