Summer is finally upon us and work is well underway at the spectacular Coo Palace. With incredible views over Wigtown Bay and the Solway Firth, we couldn't resist giving you a sneak peek at our newest home from home….
With a new roof, charming holiday cottages and much more in the pipeline, it's exciting to see how Coo Palace is continuing its transformation, while still maintaining its unique feel and sense of history.
We have plenty of fantastic developments to update you on over the upcoming weeks and months. From the breathtaking scenery surrounding the site to the fascinating nearby attractions and, of course, the exciting work going on within and around Coo Palace itself, there's so much that we're looking forward to sharing.
We'll update you on how the fantastic Conker Interiors are transforming the Palace's interiors into comfortable, stylish holiday properties for our guests to enjoy throughout their stay. What's more, you can learn how we're using hand-selected local plants and careful planning to create beautiful gardens that blend seamlessly with the surrounding countryside.
We'll also be taking a closer look at some of the fascinating activities to enjoy around the local area, including breathtaking landscapes, historic sites, talented local artists and some delicious food and produce… all within easy reach of Coo Palace!
Last but not least, we'll take a deeper dive into the history of the property, from it's not-so-humble beginnings as an extravagant home for prize cattle, to a revamped piece of history waiting to welcome holidaymakers to this beautiful part of Scotland.
