Discover Camp de Mar
Situated in the fashionable southwest corner of Majorca, La Reserva de Biniorella is an exclusive country club development covering over 88,000 square feet. Perched on a beautifully wooded hilltop overlooking the ‘cala’ – the small bay of Camp de Mar – the complex offers holidaymakers three pools, a leisure centre, bar, restaurant and of course the most enthralling Mediterranean views.
Though rightly renowned for the quality of its beaches, Majorca – the largest of the Mediterranean Balearic Islands – has much more to offer. It is a golfer’s paradise and a great winter retreat too, offering music, theatre, galleries, museums, restaurants and shopping experiences to rival the mainland.
Of course, the climate is fantastic too. You’re practically guaranteed to have perfect weather during your trip, which isn’t something you can say for many holiday destinations!
Superbly located, La Reserva de Biniorella enjoys a beautiful backdrop of pine tree-studded mountains. Why stay anywhere else?
Try your hand at sailing
If you wish to set sail while you’re in Majorca, then you’re in luck. Sailing is popular here and consequently there are plenty of companies that will rent you a boat or yacht for the day. This gives you an opportunity to view parts of the coast you wouldn’t otherwise get to see.
Alternatively, you can watch the experts race against each other in one of the many international regattas hosted here each year.
Take in some culture at Majorca’s many museums and art galleries
Head to the island’s capital, Palma, for a wealth of museums, art galleries and other cultural activities. The world-class exhibitions change regularly, and showcase the work of both new and renowned artists. There’s always something new to see and the cultural events held here attract arts lovers from all corners of the globe. They aren’t to be missed.
Bring home some local handicrafts
You can’t go home without bringing back a few souvenirs, and Majorca’s local markets are the place to find gifts for all the family, and yourself of course. You’ll get to see glass blowers and potters in action, and will have the chance to purchase leather products, fresh produce, clothes, household goods and much more.
Treat the kids to a day at the aquarium
Home to Europe’s deepest shark tank, Palma Aquarium really is one of the best. During your visit you’ll see more than 700 species of sea-dwelling creatures, from scary sharks to graceful sea turtles.
Alternatively, you could take the kids to Marineland in Magaluf, which has penguins, sea lions and various reptiles. While you’re in the area, why not spend the afternoon at Western Water Park? There are plenty of rides here for adrenaline junkies, as well as gentler ones for younger children.
Play a round of golf on one of Majorca’s first-class courses
There are more than 20 championship golf courses in Majorca, making it a paradise for those who love the sport. No matter how advanced you are at golf, there’s a suitable course to play through. With the Mediterranean Sea’s gentle, cool breezes and the hot sun shining on you, Majorca is the perfect place to play a spot of golf.
Shops and restaurants
Camp de Mar is a short 10-minute walk away, with a small selection of shops, restaurants and bars, a mini market and a good sandy beach.
Peguera is a busy little town with many shops, boutiques, restaurants and bars, as well as two good beaches and plenty of water sports.
Port d’Andratx, on the other side of the hill, is a quaint natural port with upmarket restaurants and shops. Andratx itself is a local county town with some shops and a good weekly market.

Biniorella has excellent on-site facilities. We have:

The clubhouse has a very nice restaurant (www.lareserva.co.uk), which also offers take-away meals, a bar and a small shop. At least once a week, an evening of live music and dancing is held.
On-site entertainment
Most weeks, we hold a Social BBQ on a Wednesday. If you bring your own food, Biniorella supply the wine. We hold a Dinner Dance on a Sunday and a show most weeks, of either Flamenco or the classical Spanish guitar (from April to October). Once a week we hold a Quiz evening in the Club Room and a pilates and aquaretics sessions.

Properties in Majorca
Comprising 98 apartments, bungalows and villas in the largest Balearic Island’s exclusive south-west corner, La Reserva de Biniorella is a great holiday destination at any time, but perhaps particularly as an escape from the British winter, with many holidaymakers opting to spend a number of weeks, or even months, at the site.
Perhaps because, however long your stay, there is never any shortage of things to do. Play a little tennis. Have a swim. Enjoy drinks and a meal at the on-site bar and restaurant. Or maybe wander down to Camp de Mar, buy a glass of Tempranillo, and watch the waves gently lapping at the sandy beach.
Each property has a balcony or terrace with patio furniture, many enjoying stunning sea views. The buildings and pavements are attractively faced with mares (a typical local honey-coloured stone).
The development has been carefully landscaped with attractive walkways, terraces, ornamental ponds and patios shaded by orange trees. Together with well-tended gardens and bougainvillea, which has spread across the walls and pergolas.
Apartments
On the west coast of Majorca in Camp de Mar, Biniorella sits overlooking the Balearic Sea. Seventy-six ground-floor, first-floor and second-floor apartments are either one or two bedroom and, depending on their size, many are large enough to sleep up to five guests. The location is fantastic for family holidays.
Apartments
Book a tourThe apartments are housed in typical, honey-coloured buildings, and feature the orange-tiled roofs common throughout the Mediterranean region. All of the apartments have access to either a terrace or a balcony equipped with outdoor furniture and, in many cases, great views, so you can really enjoy sitting outside. Four of the two-bedroom apartments have been adapted for accompanied wheelchair access, with an open-plan living space. All of the two-bedroom apartments can sleep five, with the exception of two of the easy-access properties which can accommodate a total of four. The apartments are furnished with either a double or twin beds, making them suitable for either family or friends, and a sofa bed or Z-bed is provided in those apartments that can sleep an additional guest.
The Biniorella site is charmingly landscaped, with attractive walkways and terraces as well as ornamental water feature and orange trees, interspersed with well-tended gardens. All the apartments have access to the on-site outdoor pool that they share with the other on-site properties.
Facilities/equipment
All the apartment bedrooms sleep two in either twin or double beds, depending on the property. Lounges and dining rooms are open-plan in the majority of the properties, with a kitchen that is well-equipped with all you’ll need during your stay, including pots, pans, appliances and utensils. The properties that can sleep extra guests are provided with a sofa bed or Z-bed in the living area.
Bungalows
Most of the three-guest bungalows are semi-detached, and their one bedroom is either a double or a twin. Perfect for those holidaying as a couple, or if you are travelling with a friend or two. Here you have a perfect base from which to explore your surroundings, with everything provided that you could need for your Majorcan holiday.
Bungalows
Book a tourThe bungalows sit to the south of the site, where they share the use of a communal pool. But if it is a swim you are after, then the sea is just minutes away and Majorca is renowned for its great coastline. Camp de Mar, where Biniorella is situated, sits in a sheltered bay with stunning views out over the beautiful Balearic Sea to the west of the island. Biniorella has a total of 14 bungalows, all one-bedroom properties that can sleep up to three guests. The living and dining rooms are open-plan, while the kitchen remains separate. They all have a terrace so you can sit out and enjoy the fantastic climate, and many of these terraces have great views too.
Facilities/equipment
All bungalows are fully furnished with comfortable living and dining rooms. The bedrooms all sleep two in either a double or twin beds, and an additional sofa bed or Z-bed is provided in each property for parties of three. Each bungalow has a fully equipped kitchen, with all the facilities you’ll need during your stay.
Villas
Completing the Biniorella site is a selection of eight villas and these are certainly the luxury choice. Most of the villas are standalone properties, great for that element of privacy, and are either three or four-bedroom. The two largest can sleep up to nine guests and have their own swimming pools.
Villas
Book a tourThe villas at Biniorella are perfect for larger groups of guests. The six three-bedroom villas are two-storey properties with three bedrooms: two twin and one double. The four-bedroom villas have two double and two twin bedrooms, and an en-suite in the master bedroom adds to the luxury. These properties are all spacious and comfortable, fully furnished with a living room more than capable of housing big gatherings, for those evenings in together. The interiors are comfortable, with all eight villas featuring an open-plan ground floor living space. There is a terrace with outdoor furniture at each of the villas and, as Biniorella sits perched on a wooded hilltop, good mountain views can be enjoyed from most of them, so you can savour both the sun and the surroundings. The two four-bedroom properties have their own exclusive pool as well, while the three-bedroom properties share use of a communal pool.
Facilities/equipment
All the villas are fantastic for big groups, fully furnished with all you need and with lots of space for get-togethers. The two largest have an en-suite double bedroom as well as separate bathroom/shower room facilities. All eight villas have access to outside terrace areas which are great for socialising. The kitchens are fully equipped with all the appliances, utensils, pots, pans and facilities you could need to produce anything you fancy, whether it’s a three course meal for the whole family… or perhaps some Spanish tapas and a glass of wine.
The photos below show just how incredible La Reserva de Biniorella is; its views of the Mediterranean are stunning and wonderful to wake up to every morning. The three swimming pools will no doubt prove tempting too – our indoor pool looks beautiful when lit up at night.
As you can see, there are plenty of other great facilities too, including a bar, restaurant and leisure centre. What better way to spend those summer evenings than with a drink in one hand and a pool cue in the other?

Things to do in Majorca
Majorca is the largest of the Balearic Islands, off the east coast of mainland Spain.
It is one of Europe’s most popular holiday destinations.
Majorca boasts beautiful sandy beaches and majestic mountains, a plethora of historical buildings and cultural activities, a cosmopolitan city (Palma), theme parks for all and plenty of shopping, topped off with virtually guaranteed good weather. This climate makes Majorca a great destination for different types of holiday throughout the year.
Depending on the time of year, we organise excursions around Majorca, including trips to local fiestas and other events such as the impressive Easter procession and firework display.
Our most popular weekly trips include:
- Guided walk, every Wednesday (October – May)
- Sóller (via the train), every Sunday
- Palma (every Thursday)
- Padel surfing (June – September)
Other non-exclusive weekly trips take in the island’s most spectacular landmarks and attractions, including Formentor, Sineu and the Caves of Drac.
Staying close to home
Majorca is also home to many good golf courses, most with 18 holes. This includes Camp de Mar, which is regarded by golfers as tough but rewarding. Winter, spring and autumn are said to be the best golfing seasons.
Heading east along the coast, there are many fashionable stop-offs, not least Puerto Portals, with its exclusive marina, and rows of restaurants and coffee shops. In terms of family attractions, nearby Marineland is home to dolphins, sea lions, exotic birds and a tropical aquarium.
Or if you prefer to be in the water yourself, the Western water parks are just down the road in Magaluf. Afterwards, why not enjoy a burger served up with some superb acrobatic feats at the Pirates show?
Palma, a city steeped in history
Palma’s well-preserved historical centre is dominated by the magnificent French-Gothic cathedral and the Almudaina Arabic palace, which was originally a Moorish citadel and now houses a museum and royal treasures.
The 121m-long cathedral is constructed of gold limestone from the quarries of Santanyi, in the south east of the island. It is home to nine massive bells, the largest of which is N’Eloi, weighing in at 5,700kg.
The Palau March Museum is situated close to the cathedral and the Almudaina Palace. Exhibitions include contemporary collections containing works by artists such as Rodin, Chillida and Henry Moore, as well as a set of lithographs by Salvador Dali.
Along with a spectacular harbour and yacht marina, the capital city also has many excellent restaurants and bars, and a number of other museums, from modern art to local history. These include the Es Baluard Museu d’Art Modern i Contemporani and, just outside Palma, the house where Joan Miró spent the last decades of his life.
Heading north to the mountains
Inland, there are many lovely villages that have hardly changed over the centuries, such as Galilea and Puigpunyent. Other places worth visiting include the many monasteries, such as the one found in Lluc, from which there are also a number of hiking paths.
Towns include Valldemossa, a picturesque mountain village with a famous monastery, defined by Frederic Chopin as ‘the most beautiful place on earth’. Alternatively, take the narrow-gauge railway across the dramatic Serra de Tramuntana from Palma to Sóller. From there, you can then take the tram to Puerto de Sóller.
Take a hike to get back to nature
There’s a whole host of walking possibilities across Majorca, from the start of the GR 221 in nearby Port d’Andratx for serious hikers, to La Reserva Puig De Galatzó, which is located a short drive north of Camp de Mar.
The nature reserve is an ideal spot for a stroll and a picnic, and is situated at the foot of the Galatzó mountain. The park’s the only one of its kind in Majorca, covering an area of more than 2.5 million square metres.
